"Peace is a daily, a weekly, a monthly process, gradually changing opinions, slowly eroding old barriers, quietly building new structures."— John F. Kennedy

Whereby the role of the Civil Service is to serve the civil society so that ordinary men and women can enjoy the benefits of living in an organized environment, the role of a civic leader is to lead, guide, protect, and inspire their communities. The very laws and rules we live by can protect our health, our children, our way of life, and our day to day safety. When working toward peace it is paramount that the laws lean toward justice in every sense of the word. Without laws that protect, led by compassionate and caring leaders that listen to the needs of the people, there can be no peace.
