I am a philosophy teacher at Trident Technical College in Charleston, SC. I was introduced to non-violent resistance through authors like Gandhi, Tolstoy, Ruskin, King, Thoreau. I am interested in pursuing future studies in the philosophical basis of non-violence resistance and non-violence as a complete moral theory. I currently teach an ethics class at Trident which includes sections on war, terrorism, civil liberties and human rights. I hope to intergrate a section on non-violentce resistance into the course curriculum.
I want to be involved with...
Volunteering, Events, Education
I'm interested in...
Community Building, Education, Intercultural Cooperation, Non-Violence, Philosophy, Politics, Sustainability
